Hey! I am updating with a set of grainy & paper textures. In my experience you can never have too many of these types, especially for larger graphics. I really enjoy using these kind of textures on my own work. Actually this set was inspired by the amazing northerndawn. Her tumblr is gorgeous, her edits are amazing and I love using her textures lately. :) I was inspired by her scans mostly. I hope you guys will enjoy this set. Dear, Watchers! So, I have taken texture requests almost two weeks ago and the past couple days I thought that it is about time to fill them, so here they are. I have taken your preferences into good consideration, hence while most of the set is dark and grungy with a splash of colour thrown in here and there. :) Well, I do hope that you guys like the textures I made for you, which are below the cut individually, as an icon request post would be (speaking of I still owe some of you icons). Hello! This update is basically a dedication to my dearest Jo ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1) nokitas as she is celebrating her birthday today. She is an amazing person and she deserves a lot of goodness in her life. :) I made a couple of tumblr banners for you, dear, which I haven't posted on tumblr, but if you let me, I will. Dear, Watchers! I am updating with a set of 100 500x750 pixels large textures. I am really inspired by all things painty, grungy and Game of Thrones decorative elements, so I pay homage to these favourite things of mine in this set. I also tried something new, creating dotted borders, which was so much fun and quite simple. I am looking forward to your feedback on how useful these prove to be for you, and if I should continue in this direction or try different things. I kind of have a thing for larger resources these days, even if I do have a set or two icon-sized goodies that I keep around and are unposted yet. Well, that is it, I guess. Hello! This time around I signed up for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.1) inspired20in20, because there was an option to claim textures as a subject and I really liked that. I basically took all twenty inspiration words that were given and innovated them to my perspective. I also ended up making lots of alternatives, but decided not to include them. Dear, Watchers! The texture freak, that I am, is very vivid in me lately, so I come bearing textures again. I made these a while ago, actually, but decided to share now after cooking up a preview image. I was highly inspired by vintage books' covers, so I typed in key words into the google search bar and edited the heck out of what I found, and some I did from scratch! There is a certain variety in the set, which you will be able to see below. The colours are more reserved, but there is a hint of certain crazy in the textures. I really like these, and I hope they will prove to be useful for you! Dear. Watchers! I am sharing a small texture set with some medium/large sized textures. In fact there are only 3 textures in the set, but I wanted to share it like this, because I think they go so well together in my head. I have several other packs already done and available to share, and these are the most current textures, which I am sharing to tide you over until I share the actual Paper Scan textures and the Soft Paper icon texture set and some other sets. I am not only sharing these textures in a set this time, but also individually, since they are just a few. Which makes me ask, would you prefer if I shared my texture sets individually too? Or do you find most textures useful? You can be blantantly honest, as I know that what I make might not be necessarily as useful to you. :) Also. I am planning on painting textures with watercolours and acrylics this week. If you'd like to have something you really love please describe the kind of painty textures colour-wise, brush-stroke wise to me, or show me examples. I have in my mind to have resources made inspired by elli, as I found her resources useful for me lately. Lot of my icons have her stuff on it these days, so I thought I could try to come up with ellie-esque resources, that is where the paper scan idea came from. I am also thinking about having some sort of web-site too at some point, so if you have any ideas or you would like to help me realize that dream of mine, or join me on it, please let me know and we can talk about it.
